(English) The aim of this thesis was to investigate the relationship between pregoneros, street vendors in Cuba and the Cuban avant-garde poetry of the author Nicolas Guillén. The assumption that both elements have common features was primarily the fact that most street vendors popularity correlates with the end of modernism and the avant-garde beginnings, at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. In the theoretical part, we first focused on the cultural development of Cuban society, which created the basis for the study of music and literature. We found that music was the common denominator in both areas pregones (verses made up of street vendors) and Guillen's poetry. In practical part, we focused on a formal and thematic analysis of pregoners and poems from the collections Sóngoro Cosongo and Motivos de Son. Based on these analyzes we conclude that both elements have in common features of the temporal parallelism and orientation of the Cuban folklore, tradition and black roots, but on their basis we can not confirm a direct impact on Guillen poetry.
